Bhutan Tourism Update: Get Vacced & Travel!

Missing the smell of av gas? Yep, so are we!

Great news then that we are into the COVID-19 vaccination phase.

Many Australians 50 years + can expect to be vaccinated by the end of May.

Now is a great time to start your trip planning.

We have a top range of private tours & small group tours to Bhutan.

We too are raring to go and can feel a change in the air. By mid-June, when Government will reassess our closed border policy, we will hopefully be in for some certainty on when we can fly once more.

James & Nicola, of Bhutan & Beyond, intend to be among the first back in to Bhutan. James even renewed his passport last week. Now that’s wishful thinking!

On our next Bhutan visit we will be accompanied by a small group of travel advisors for a ‘study tour’ update of Bhutans hotels and tourism facilities.

COVID-19 Update & Bhutan's Top PM!

There is still only one COVID related death in Bhutan; a man with serious pre-existing medical conditions, sadly.

Bhutan remains COVID-19 vigilant and prepared. Vaccinations to begin shortly.

Did you know Bhutan’s Prime Minister, Lotay Tshering, is a professionally trained surgeon? PM Lotay somehow manages to combine running the Kingdom with performing regular surgery in the Thimphu hospital!

He is indeed a remarkable man. Check out his story here.
