Delhi & Agra City Stopover Itinerary – 4 nights:
Day 1: Meet & Greet at Delhi airport and transfer to your choice of 4-star or 5-star Delhi hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: Breakfast at your hotel followed by a full day exploring tour of Delhi with english-speaking guide and private vehicle. The tour includes a drive past Red Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site); Jama Masjid – the Great Mughal Mosque; explore the bustling laneways of Chandni Chowk; Raj Ghat – memorial to India’s founder Mahatma Ghandi; Humayun’s Tomb; Qutab Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site); Drive through Lutyen’s Delhi; India Gate (The War Memorial) and a drive past the Presidents Palace and Parliament House.
Day 3: Early breakfast at your hotel followed by a private car transfer by road to Agra (3-4 hrs). Take the afternoon at lesiure to relax at the hotel. This evening enjoy a guided cultural walking tour exploring Agra’s spice market , hidden lanes, temples & mosques. Finally view the magnificent Taj Mahal from a secret location!
Day 4: Arise early for a sunrise visiut to the Taj Mahal, and avoiding the daytime crowds! Afrer breakfast at your hotel visit Agra Fort (aka Red Fort), constructed before 1000AD. Stop at the local markets (optional) before returning to Delhi in the afternoon by road.
Day 5: Breakfast at your hotel and time at leisure until your private vehicle transfer to Delhi airport (or to continue on to another tour). Please note hotel check-out time is 10.00am.
