Best Itinerary for Bhutan Part 1

This will mean different things to different travellers. However, a great place to start is with our ‘Central Bhutan Fly/Drive’ Private Tour.

A private tour means you travel on your own with chosen family, friends and/or colleagues and choose your own entry/exit dates for your stay in Bhutan.

Dont Spend All Your Day in a Car Driving!

We firmly believe travellers to Bhutan should consider staying a minimum of 9 nights to gain the best experience. And we don’t want to have you spending too much time in a vehicle driving!!

This ‘Central Bhutan Fly/Drive’ private tour is 11 nights and can be amended to more or less nights if need be. We like to structure our tour durations to give travellers the opportunity to ‘see & do’ as much as possible each day, without too much road travel time.

This delightful itinerary offers the benefit of travelling into central Bhutan (Bumthang valleys region) and reducing driving time considerably by flying in one direction between Paro and Bumthang (or v.v.).

It means shorter drive times on driving days, and therefore, more time to stop, see & do. And without losing any opportunities along the way.

Furthermore, your guide flies with you so you keep the same guide throughout your journey. A big plus!

Make the itinerary your own!

The ‘Central Bhutan Fly/Drive’ is the perfect balance for your Bhutan adventure and the ideal itinerary for a first time visitor.

You will explore all the key valleys of western and central Bhutan.

We can easily adapt the base itinerary to best suit your personal needs. Be it more hiking and less temples, or the other way round, consider it done.

Here are our range of recommended private tours and also our range of small group tours, with set date departures for 2021 and 2022.

HOT Bhutan Travel Tips for the best experience!

These tips will ensure you get the very best from your Bhutan experience.
