Wow - Bhutan is amazing! We’ve recently had 7 days in this amazing country.... Both our guide, PT and driver, Mr Pemba were exceptional. They were keen to ensure that our time spent in their beloved Bhutan was special. On one of the days, PT had to leave us to have lunch with the King in recognition of his service as a guide. As only 10 guides throughout Bhutan were given this honour, we felt very privileged to have PT as our guide. We climbed to the Tigers Nest in snow - a real highlight. Thankyou James and Kas for organising the trip. Everything went to plan. We loved our accommodation, particularly in Paro. The Bhutan and Beyond App worked well and was a handy way to store our visas, plane tickets etc. I would definitely use Bhutan and Beyond for future trips. Leanne and Lindaread more

Best Travel Agent Ever!! James was patient with all our changes and fitting our... trip to our schedule...nothing seemed too much trouble or a bother at any point in us dealing with him. James guided us to the best options for our India & Bhutan trip. He was in touch with us while we were away and ensured we were happy travellers through the 3 weeks we were away! The people he had on the ground for us were amazing. Such high quality services. He is very experienced and I would thoroughly recommend Bhutan & Beyond Travel! Kadrin Cheyla Bhutan & Beyond! Our 10 day tour was jam-packed in the most... seamless and best possible way, with beautiful Yoga sessions lead by Sal bracketing each day's activities. The forewarning that our group of 9 would fall in love with highly experienced guide Tshering, came true. Our perspective on this remarkable country has been imprinted on the psyche and soul by his anecdotes, good deeds and good humour along with the humility, skill and kindness of our driver, Ugyen. Because words will never be enough to do justice to this adventure, I hope some of these pics will speak for themselves of the wholesomeness of the people, their philosophy and governance. When my friend and I initially approached a number of travel agents about... planning our trip to Bhutan, immediately James Irving from Bhutan & Beyond stood out as a highly knowledgable Bhutan specialist, we very quickly had complete confidence in him. His understanding of this incredible country is vast, and the level of service he provides is second to none. The entire journey - from the planning to the actual trip - has been unlike anything I have ever experienced. James was outstanding in tailoring the itinerary to our interests, with intuitive recommendations that you only get from someone who really knows Bhutan. In addition, our BTCL guide and driver we were allocated made every minute memorable. I believed this was a once in a lifetime destination, but I am already plotting my return and will absolutely use Bhutan & Beyond again, and would recommend them to anyone considering travelling to this extraordinary part of the world.read more

James at Bhutan and Beyond helped me enormously navigate a country and the... travel requirements that I had no idea about. He was excellent communicating with me, fast and clear. I had many questions and nothing was too much for him. All permits and visa's were done by James and made the experience a breeze. I can highly recommend them. The guide and driver I was booked with were perfect for me and were always checking that everything was just right. I always felt James was there if I needed anything.read more

One of the best and happiest holidays we have ever had. The tour was well... organised, and the guides were flexible enough to alter schedules to suit the weather and group requests. We can only give 5 stars for the fabulous service we get from Nicola at Bhutan... & Beyond Travel. I have now traveled to Bhutan 3 times over 7 years on motorcycle tours organised by Nicola, and they have been the most amazing trips. Our motorcycle guide, Tashi, is the best; he has a deep understanding and knowledge of his culture the country and people and is also a damn good motorcyclist and bloody good company!. He has terrific knowledge of the road conditions and paces the trip to suit riders abilities. Accommodation has been also excellent, 3 star hotels but I would actually rate them 4 star and 10 stars for the views!read more

After much research we found Bhutan & Beyond and soon decided that they offered... the best itineraries and generally more time in Bhutan than the many other companies we looked at. Any reservations we had about booking with an Australian company (as UK based travellers) disappeared as Nicola answered our many queries promptly and thoroughly and with every email we became more and more confident that this was the company for us. We booked a small group tour to take in one of the many festivals and cover as much of Bhutan as we could. The country and it's people are enchanting and we had a wonderful trip, despite a problem with a cancelled internal flight. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend Bhutan & Beyond to anyone considering a visit to this fascinating country.read more
