Getting the travel industry back to work - Bhutan Covid-19 Travel Update 17OCT21

These Covid-19 updates are getting rather tiresome, but what can we do?

Please get vaxed and that will be a very big help. It’s free and just might save your life. Getting the travel industry back to work will be a joy and we need to so badly.

Bhutan & Beyond in the cockpit of TACA Airlines

And  now for something completely different.

For those of you paying attention, this is not Bhutan, but yours truly on a TACA (now defunct, sadly) flight, pre-takeoff, between Lima & San Salvador back in 2002.

Despite it being only one year after 9/11 South American airlines were quite open to cockpit visits by selected passengers!

Back to beautiful Bhutan

Some misinformed individuals claim Paro Airport in beautiful Bhutan is one of the most dangerous airports in the world to land in.

James & Nicola Irving, of Bhutan & Beyond, beg to differ and we have every right to do so. We’ve landed and taken off at Paro Airport 18 times since 2003. Every time a gem and the landing is an awesome treat that we just love. In fact its one of the many highlights that a trip to Bhutan bestows upon lucky travellers.

Check out James’ short video below on this issue.
