Bangkok Stopover for Bhutan & South Asia
James & Nicola are Bhutan, Nepal and India travel experts from Bhutan & Beyond. In July 2022 they are checking out their major hub cities, of Singapore and Bangkok, for travellers to their south Asian destinations.
Bangkok remains a relatively low-cost stopover option. Eating, drinking, transport & hotel accommodation are all excellent value for money.
Bangkok has Cleaner Air in a new age of travel!
We can’t believe how much cleaner the air is now in Bangkok, after 2+ years of COVID restrictions. Just check out the image of Nicola above, with our good Thai friend Noon, with Bangkok boasting a delightful clear & quite sunny day, even in monsoon season!
There’s now no COVID quarantining or mandatory PCR testing required on entry to Thailand, although mask wearing is strongly advocated except when exercising in parks and of course when dining in restaurants & bars.
Bangkok is definitely worthy of a 3-4 day stopover to/from Nepal, India or Bhutan.
Just talk with James & Nicola of Bhutan & Beyond and we’ll arrange a terrific Bangkok stopover for you.
