Lodge Introduction:
Gangtey Lodge, in the delightful Phobjikha Valley, offers every possible comfort that one should expect in a fine country home. It’s remote location, in the heart of Bhutan, allows one to take a step back in time; away from the stresses and materialism of modern day life.
All 12 guest suites command sweeping views of the valley below and of the revered Gangtey Goenpa (monastery). Heated hand cut stone floors and deep bathtubs next to beautiful glass door wood burning stoves (called bukharis) complete the sense of luxury and coziness.
The main lodge subtly captures the vibrancy of Bhutanese artwork and monastic design. Local artists and masons worked on the murals and carvings reflecting images and landscapes from the valley. Savour a morning cup of coffee on the spacious outdoor terrace while the valley awakens with fresh pine scented air. Cozy leather sofas, nestled around two huge stone fireplaces, and plush, hand woven carpeting create the perfect atmosphere for intimate evening time dining and drinks.

These lead-in rates are HALF BOARD (Breakfast & Dinner included) at the lodge, with lunches being taken at local hotels or farm houses, or you can choose to pay extra and take lunch at the lodge.
Prices are quoted in US Dollars and include:
- All suite accommodation.
- 20% tax and service charges
- Breakfast & Dinner Daily (lunches taken at local hotels or as picnic)
- Selection of beverages (tea, coffee, signature drink of the day, soft drinks, water, house wines & local alcoholic beverages).
- Complimentary laundry up to 5 kg per stay
- Minimum stay 2 nights.
